Woodworking in the great white north.

As an amateur woodworker, I’ve learned a lot from what other people have done through their efforts to share knowledge through blogging and podcasting.

I hope through this site to give some of that back and share with others anything I can that will make their woodworking experiences more enjoyable.

While I plan to make this primarily about woodworking, I will occasionally throw some other things in here, like home renovations and other craft activities like soapstone carving.

    Hey Ian-
Not sure if you remember me or not but we met at WIA last year and did some hanging out. I was reading Dyami’s Blog and came across your name and that led me here.
I’ll certainly bookmark you and start reading–good stuff.
Anyway –just wanted to say hi. Are you headed out to WIA this year again? I was hoping to but sadly it’s not going to happen.
    Are you on google+?
    Take care-

    • HeyChris, absolutely remember you. I was just thinking about you when I saw Dyami’s pictures from Allen’s place. I’m going to WIA as are a bunch of the gang from last year, plus a few new people I know. I’m actually driving down with two other guys this year. Too bad you won’t be there, maybe next year? Glad you stumbled across my blog. Yes, I’m on google+, Ian Mackay or woodcanuck at gmail, I just looked you up and added you to my WWing circle.
